I just met someone on slsk who got it already!! but he would not share it anymore because the person who gave it to him asked him to, that guy told him that it wasn't finished yet, so I won't get it !! :( I tried to convince him but it would not help. this is the same as holding some drugs in front of an addict and not giving it. So keep your eyes open for it because he said there were more ppl who downloaded it. Maybe some board members? who knows |

i've heard it. its not variance by the way, or at least not the full album. rather, a demo cdr for friends. im quite sure songs from it would make the final, and maybe much of what ive heard will be final. but from what i understand, its just an early demo and not even finished. ie the track "aerodynamic" was released on cdr in 2001 for friends (look for jega discography and you will find it). this "variance demo" could well be that one, but there is no tracklisting for it. so yeah, its not particularly new, but not old either. personally i only liked about 4 or 5 tracks and the rest were not that good. some of the tracks sound like they took 5 minutes in FL to make. stock drums and a ts404. even if its somewhere near final its completely a huge let down. then again im not a huge jega fan, a few choice tracks from geometry (the title track specifically). honestly i would have rather waited for the actual version. |

That soulseek version is the 2001 demo. It contains a few tracks that may be on Variance, but in a reworked finished form. It also includes those sh101 and dr55 jams untouched. |

i'll be glad if i hear for sure that it's not even close to the final release because i think it's really weak. but i do love jega, so if it isn't, i'm sure he'll pull off something cool. |
