question: what does a dutch word which is pronounced "kalufsborsjt" mean? In context (i've managed to understand the rest of the sentence with common sense, but i don't know what kalufsborsjt is.. probably because it is food or something... i will write the rest of it in English, as I don't know how to spell the words in dutch) "then, I looked at the menu, and it said 'kalufborsjt.' now, you may think to yourselves: 'nooo, kalufsborsjt'" |

ahaaa... that makes it even MORE stupid! HAHA! some norwegian comedians have a show where they use a dutch voiceover from some old dutch comedian while they do cool stuff.. it's hard to explain. check it: 1: Go to 2: Click the link on the left that says: "Lyd og Video".. the link is bold. 3: A site will open, and a window will pop up. The popup will check your internet-speed, and then give you a list of programs to the left. 4: scroll all the way down, and click numer 4 from the bottom, "Team Antonsen." 5: open all the "+" thingies, and look for all the places where it says "Nederlandsk komiker." 6: Click and enjoy. This is just as funny even if you don't understand norwegian or dutch. |

in short: he tells that he prefers singing in dutch over english or french and asks himself why one would sing in another language. with food, he argues, its a whole different story: a good diner is supposed to be french - a menu already tatses better when it is written in french (he compares the french and dutch word for "kalfsborst" [in dutch its rather straightforward and doesnt sound very tasty] then he starts to sing a typical oldfashioned traditional dutch (folk)song (nothing to do with with the kalfsborst) and i dont want to bother you with its translation, because it just goes nowhere (which is probably his point) its famous dutch selfmockery, i guess |

yeah the "shaving" one is good. i could only find three clips though, and the third one only gave sound. it works best when the diff. clips are viewed after eachother, i think; the repeating of the same tape with completely diff interpretations is hilarious...as far as i can tell :) |
