the global suckyness with goverments and such.

The awfully cheesy music, haircuts and fashion made for a
unique decade, whereas from the 90's to now it's a
uninspired rumination of old styles befitting these times
and the lump of witless people born in it. Anything else?

Apart from the bad mullets etc.80's rocked for me.
Skating kicked off in a big way, the bones brigade was in
force, and so were the skatepunks, i guess it was a
lifestyle of mine for quite a while.
punk rock had a ressurgence too with bands like the
exploited, millions of dead cops....
Hip hop was startin to kick in, breakdancin and bboys,
writers...
so much shit happenin other than pseudo echo and badd mullet
keyboard players.

anything else.

I didn't like the 80's much in the 80's - I really hated the
80's in the 90's - But I'm quite into the 80's now we're in
the 00's

I listen to stuff like Prince and Scritti Politti non-stop
when I'm out the studio, just cos it's so flambouant - Nice
contrast to the kind of music I write.

Ah shit! I used to LOVE my Spectrum and C64 games!

I feel kind of sorry for kids nowadays who're brought up on
Playstation...

All the anticipation waiting for a game to load (or not) was
part of the fun... And some of the games were so
unbelievably playable - Had so much more character than
modern games...

Games like Terminus, Back to Skool and Colony are the ones I
remember the best... And games like Gauntlet which would go
on for ever...
