Animal sounds and autechre

Hello everyone.

I have recently been conducting a study into this
fascinating area of research. Allow me to explain in more
detail: the idea occurred to me when I heard my dog bark,
and realised that this sound was absolutely NOTHING like the
sound at 3:11 of autechre's "liccflii" from their album ep7.

This discovery shocked me deeply and I frantically began
conducting similar experiments to see how the results would
turn out. I was completely flabbergasted to discover that
the results I had found supported the notion I had thought
up previously. This may seem very confusing to you. Here are
some examples of my results which will hopefully clarify the
matter:

- The sound of a kitten's "meow" is very, very different to
the sounds which run from 00:00 to 00:01 in the song
"tilapia".
- A pig's "oink" is entirely dissimilar to the first sound
in the draft 7.30 smash hit "theme of sudden roundabout"
- A lion roaring, when compared to the 5 seconds that follow
1:35 in the song "uviol", is mind-bogglingly different.
- The "moo" of a cow is staggeringly unlike the introductory
10 seconds of "rotar". Even more staggering is the
realisation that when this 10 second clip is played
backwards, it still bears no resemblance to the cow's "moo".

These are just a small extract from my enormous array of
results. I hope you find them to be astounding as I did.
This is certainly something that has not been looked into
before, although it is certainly fascinating.

I will be interested to see if anyone has noticed any other
animal sounds which are completely different to the sounds
of autechre.

Thanks
horsefactory

I don't understand what you mean by saying they are so
differnet, are you being sarcastic?

No I don't think its a joke, I just don't understand it, its
like saying pocket lint is strangely completely differen't
than the color Turqoise. Its like something someone would
start thinking about while under the influence of drugs.

I checked all of these out and you're completely right! Hard
to believe, in a way. I've also noticed that a mouse's
squeak compared to the last 8 seconds of EP7's blockbusting
Zeiss Contarex is entirely different.

I'd be interested to hear how Incanabula fares with farmyard
and more exotic animals.

if you pour beer over incunabula and let it rest for 1 hours
and 40 minutes and 3 seconds and 59 thousands of a second in
a hot oven with a temperature between 380 and 400 kelvin
(not celcius, kelvin) and then you let it smother for a bit
and you try to play it youll see that it has 14 and a half
tracks, consisting of a conversation between the 2 boards of
canada guys edited so that it sounds just like the normal
tracks from incunabula the remainging extra tracks arent
there.

THE KEY:

have you tried spelling backwards those animal sounds? or
just rearranging the letters in a different order? they will
suddenly come very close the many lp5 or older autechre
sounds...

that is a very interesting study indeed but don't ruin it by
calling ep7 an 'album'... accuracy mate, accuracy...

there is a sound in CAP.IV that sounds like a dog bark....
it also sounds like it could be the yelp Earl (and maybe
Toejam too, I wouldnt know cause I always played with Earl)
makes when he gets injured in the genesis game Toejam & Earl

Teh greatest dog bark is in the VSNARES's breezeblock
thingy. Just at the end. Tehehe. "Doggy doggy! Bark bark
bark!"

Btw just about a minute before there's a nice samble from
"The Love Bug" car movie.

it isn't "help a computah". it's simply "help computah". and
to be more picky, he says "omputah" more when he first says
"hey kid i'm a computah". when he says "help computah" it's
actually more like "help compuder".
So get it right please or set yourself on fire.
