has anyone recently "discovered" some good music that doesn't get mentioned on the board?
if so, lets swap ideas.
mine are
stasis - past movements (peacefrog). very much in the vein of old black dog from the bytes era.
anthony manning "a manning compendium" (germstore). just read the review on the warp site, i dare you NOT to buy it.
fax "ruido de fondo" (rocketracer). the finest in mexican click house.
anyone want to tell me of an obscure gem i should be buying?
thankyou please.

A nice new find for me, and they have NEVER, EVER been mentioned on the boards (I did a search), are the Mekons. Fairly typical indie/college rock, but they've been around since the late '70s, have coverd a lot of stylistic ground, and have a nice fat back catologue to dig through.
