Well, it's not very different from the original.

Yeah, and what's my point ? Meh.

i think its a dreadful cover version. adds absoutely nothing
to the orignial. although to be fair you're doing well to
improve it.

yes, it's very simmilar, but i like the sounds on pusher's
version a whole lot more (no "annoying" synths), it has a
more melanholic touch to it, which i like a lot

I kind of like it, though it seems like more of a novelty
than a real effort. I like the sizzling cymbals and his
understated voice, but that's one of those tracks that were
perfect to begin with. Everything was tweaked and optimized
so that no cover could ever top it.

It's one of the worst covers I've ever heard from an artist
of Squarepusher's calibur. Sometimes you can force yourself
to like a song if you listen to it repeatedly, but I doubt
I'd like this song even if I heard it a million times.

it's different and that's why i love it.

the original is so good though.. its going to be tough for
anyone to do it justice.
its a decent cover.
but it can't surpass joy division's rendition.

such a beautiful song.
i'm off to listen to it now.

It's very similar... check out the electro-pop version by
bis if you want something a bit different.

Why ? Because it's by Squarepusher ?

yes, because squarepusher is holy.

what sort of question is that? i just like his voice better.
the whole track just sounds more 'crisp'.
