Help mars volta or aphex and luke vibert live

Hey everyone , im going to the big day out here in New
Zealand, and the bastards that put together the timetable
have put the three acts i was looking forward to all on at
the same time.
its either
The Mars Volta 1 hour set
Aphex twin & Luke Vibert 1 hour and half
The strokes 1 hour 1 hour - but its a tossup between aphex
and mars volta
what are the Aphex and Luke sets like
anyone seen both these live preformers
i cant choose

apperantly mars volta sont sound as good live as they do on
records
they were playing here a while ago (unfortunately i was out
of town) and people that went there werent too impressed...

i have the same problem, so here is my solution:

1. fuck the mars volta.
2. see aphex at the BDO
3. see the strokes live the next night at there solo show.

that is what i am doing, have my tix to both already.

Its just the improvising in there live sets
and there music video which showed there energy on stage,
also i dig there albulm.
