hello friend.

What are you goint to use it for?
If you want to animate a photoshop pic (with several
layers); you'd better use Adobe After Effects... In that
application you can import a photoshop pic with (keeping its
layers) and then make whatever you want you of them.
E.g. if you want to make something simple like a South
Park-cartoon; it's real easy.

However it might take some time to get into the application.

photoshop 6 and above should come with ImageReady.

that's the tool you'll want to use to make animated gifs

you can import a layered .psd file directly into imageready
then animate it in there.

nope. you'll need to use flash if you want to create an
animated image with sound.

.gif's don't support it.

I want an image with 8 layers that each one make diferent
moves (simple moves like going from right to left) and music
as background

you cannot animate the picture in photoshop, it's just for
(still) image-processing.

macromedia flash is a program that is used to make
interactive websites, and a lot of the animation you see on
the web.

as Key_Secret is saying, you can use a program like Premier
to create movies, like .wmv, and quicktime type movies
that'll have sound in them.

first of all (in photoshop) you'll need to create layers for
each 'frame' of your animation. think about it like a
flipbook.

then open that .psd file with image ready.

then go to window > Show Animation

in there you'll be able to create as many frames for your
animation as you want, using the icon of the little peice of
paper with the bottom left-hand corner folded up.

then, you just want to select one frame at a time and make
whichever layer of your .psd visible that you want to appear
at that time.

the .gif will just scroll through one frame after the
other... voila! animation

*sorry, i'm the worst teacher ever*

do a search for image ready tutorials on google, that's what
I did. it's really pretty simple to create animated .gif's

yeah, if you can use layers in photoshop you can certainly
create animated gifs in image ready.

it's just that i'm a horible instruct0r.
