I was listening to white blur 2 recently (saw2 cd2 track11,
the 11.21 minutes long track) and noticed some voices...i'd
never noticed them before! I always got to the laughing part
then drifted off into my own little world, but this time i
listened all the way through and there were some voices
talking...can anyone tell me what they are saying?

Also, can someone tell me what is being said in White Blur 1
(saw2 cd2 track12) please? theres a high voice and then a
deeper voice, probably both ricky....

In the first white blur, i can hear someone saying:

"Can you sit down, we expect loud and surround sound" or
something like that (this is the deep voice)

The lighter voice I cannot understand one bit. It does laugh
though...

You should really get out more. But if you want my opinion,
i think the voices are saying something quite profound and
life-affirming. either that, or something totally zany and
off-the-wall. who knows what that aphex twin boy gets up to.
He's mad crazy bonkers.

For ages, I thought this track was pointless. A very short
loop repeated for eleven minutes.
Then it suddenly clicked, and now it's one of my favourites
on the album.

come on people, saw2 has sold more copies than any other
aphex album, more then any idm album, and these are the only
tracks on it with words...surely someone must have worked
out what they are saying...

The first white blur seems like it could be made easier if
you slow down the fast voice or speed up the slow one. But
I never noticed the voices in white blur 2 until you
mentioned it and I think it's too distorted to hear

I slowed it down to about 70% speed, sounds like two guys
and a lady.
"...[inaudible]...What?
Guy:'I stopped? the sounds? but(and?) it(he?) fucking died.
Lady:'like "you fucking died" heh

Guy: something my something I said you'll fucking die (you
fucking died?)

Guy: They just something weren't they? In/at the hospital.
He said I'll tell you we'll be back
yeah
Guy: "that's not a clever thing to say"(?)

Lady: "So where's my money?"
Guy: "Yeah hah yeah ?good?"
Guy: "I lost ----"

I think the slow voices might be talking about computers or
something. I think I've heard 'computer' 'service'
'technology' maybe? It's a lot more muffled

The white blur 2 one sounds like it's only on the right
channel, and it sounds like an old lady or a witch
complaining about something.

"...this much..."
Then something about plastic:"...she was off like a shot
(looking for?)plastic and there wasn't even plastic yet"(?)
"By this time I was ?in captivity? and ..."
"...I was five minutes just getting inside. Oh!
(?No!)"

Second part is distorted sounding and maybe another voice
that asks a question about side dishes? I'm pretty sure it's
about eating a meal
"...(something) and some chicken pieces. ....you talk to her
when she gets home...."
then the other person says something maybe
then back to the old lady: "....but seeing it was me and
?asking questions and......but seeing it was me she
(someting)ed me up the last little (something) bits, and
topped it off with some mushrooms and -- trust me Itoo quietly and then chuckles>
.......but no boy knows
to mess with something...it's...
...how could I have been wrong, she knows that's ridicuous.
So I just said, look,..."

That gets to about 4:30 into the song, there's more later
but mostly distorted.

it's always the same game i think...make a track put some
fast and changed voices inside....and then people who will
listen to your album....will hear that things they wanne to
hear....
