Great "simple" tracks

A thread for all those tracks that are technically very
simple and repetative, but work fine like it and manage to
keep your interest. My vote:
Mr. Oizo - Monophonic Shit.

It sounds like it's made out of 4/5 loops and has very
little variation, but it's great :)

Mr. Oizo, may have to check that because Flat Beat was cool
for a while :)

A lot of ambient tracks are very simple yet effective.. just
look at SAW2.

Actually looking at it there are far too many to name.

stone in focus and white blur 2 are both real good but
they're waaaaaaaaay too long for 3/4 note songs

i like stone in focus. you can get lost in its length. not
sure about white blur 2 though.

actually putting this as simple wouldn't really go. it's not
exactly simple, but not technical. not too repetive, but a
little. i really like this remix. nice bass.

i agree with Drane for sure, one of my favourite ae
tracks...
a lot of techno, and hip hop, and dnb... is really simple,
but good all the same... in particular, i like a lot of
Krust's massive choons for the Full Cycle peeps...

revolution 909 is another song that i think is wicked... now
that i have that kind of stuff in mind: Underworld can be
relatively simple, but is still very, very good... same can
be said for a lot of Chemical Brothers stuff, particularly
most anything off of Dig Your Own Hole...

mappatazee > what release is this on?

i don't know anything at all about the technical aspects of
music so i don't know what is simple (to play) and what is
not, but 'The Drop' by Peter Gabriel is a totally
breathtaking track and yet sounding so simple and naive...
the kind of track that could also make me cry and the kind
of perfect ending, that stays in your head - - after it's
over, nothing else than silence can fit and you're staying
alone with the feelings the song put inside you.

same thing for 'Weakness' by Opeth (even though it's more
"produced").

both really brilliant tracks.
