This is more a compilation than a real exclusive soundtrack,
actually. But, yes, Yann Tiersen is good.

It's cool. I like the two old tracks with vocals they slip
on there. "Guilty" and "Si Tu N'Etais Pas Là (Fréhel))"

My fav at the moment is "La Valse D'Amelie (Orchestra
Version)"...
it's the groove.

Right now I'm listening to the Moby-B-sides of Play and...
damn "Flying Foxes" is soo good.
any comments on this?

I like that "Running" track on the B-sides. If I remember
correctly, "Flying Foxes" is pretty cool. I don't have the
album anymore for some reason.

Yes, what's good about the B-sides is that they haven't been
overused in films or advertisments and are thus still
enjoyable. Yes.

I'm sick of this soundtrack. I think it's pretty good, but
I've heard it EVERYWHERE, just too much.

two years ago EVERYBODY had this soundtrack. as soon as
summer comes around even a tiny bit, I can hear people
popping on the cd's..

summer is good.
and this soundtrack is good.
and the movie is great.
what more can you expect?

Yeah, that's true, I used to hear it in every documentary.
And I'm sure this terrible situation was worse in France
than anywhere else.

And it's a real shame because I love Yann Tiersen, AND I
KNEW HIM BEFORE HE GOT FAMOUS BECAUSE I AM SO, LIKE,
UNDERGROUND.

then change it.
and listen to the soundtrack, just one more time. it rules
:)
or watch the movie, I know I will asap.

I won't change it, it's an avant-garde work.. Art is not
always meant to be pleasant.

As for Yann Tiersen, I prefer his other albums. Le
Phare
is great, some songs ended up on the Amélie
soundtrack but you should give it a listen nonetheless.

ok I will check that out!
and for art being not always pleasant I agree with that.
but if there is any point of having a non-pleasant avantar,
please tell me, because I don't know why one would want to
(ok I am still drunk)...

drunken posting, be aware.

ooh god yes, you then got all the people who already knew
Yann Tiersen almost screaming that they knew him already..
