anyone have any experience with making cd booklits? i want to do just two pages, four images (front, back, and two on the inside), which would be just one piece of paper. would my best bet be to go to kinko's, see what kind of printable material they have and how much it'd cost? i'm lookin to do 30 or 40 of them, plus the back tray. oh, and within the next two weeks. is this possible without spending a large amount of money? my personal printer will not suffice....
thanks in advance
- jim

"would my best bet be to go to kinko's, see what kind of printable material they have and how much it'd cost?"
Yeh probably. That sounds like a good idea.
You probably won't be able to use any colors though. I've never heard of a color-photocopy machine that can print both sides of the paper.
Black & white can be really nice though :-)

i wasn't sure if kinkos had some glossy-type paper that could be printed on both sides or not. i've heard of a few places online that you can send art to for printing, but i'd like to have it done soon.
thanks for the welcome, i lurk here often but hadn't had anything to post about.

"you have kinkos in the netherlands?"
Yeah sure :-) I love how they're open 24 hours a day!
"some glossy-type paper that could be printed on both sides or not."
I don't know about that either... you'd have to ask them. I'm sure they will have at least some kind of fancy paper that will look better than just ordinary printer-sheets.

from my experience, color copies generally cost A LOT. it would be way cheaper to do it yourself with a printer. depending on how many copies you want, it may cost less to just buy a new printer. then again, you could run off b&w copies on a photocopier - that's the punk rock way.
