i would like to remix your track(s). yes, you.
i promise to ruin them so much that you won't ever want to listen to
your own song ever again. so who's down?

great!
i hoped someone would pick up on the genius of that track :p
but seriously: i liked the first beat and tried to remake it
the track with that but failed
i'll mail you the whole program (100k), and file (even less)
but that's for mac so i can also sent you some standard midi
output thing from that program
id like to be properly credited for, if that's possible,
especially when your gonna making millions with it
ill mail you later tonight, but i dont know how that works
exactly: dont see many of that on that other tracks, or
other information in general..
anywho: cheerio

still deciding, but i'll let you know soon!

tibbar - could i get the samples for blaine the mono? if
not, i'll check out some other stuff.

q4z2x - it may be interesting for me to try and do one of
these from just the mp3. can i mess around with them see
what works? i'm leaning towards dibasic 2.

would be phunkay.

yes, so far i've done the following remixes:

Biggiesmartypants - NMBBSII (Hyphen Colon Mix)

Headphukker - Twist My Cymbaal (Snowdrift Mix)

Q4z2x - Dibasic 2 (Kicked Down The Grand Hall Of The Ice
Castle Mix)

i uploaded them all to my mp3.com.au page, but they are not
online yet. as soon as they are, i'll post it.

plaidzebra - i'll definitely check out your tracks asap.

idmaxe - i'm not on soulseek much, but if i catch you on
there i'll try and download samples.

plaidzebra - sorry i haven't replied, i've been busy! you
have a lot of tracks that are really great as well, so it's
been difficult to decide. can i remix your track "voices
from nowhere"? i would appreciate it if you were to e-mail
me samples.

i don't know what the deal with mp3.com.au is - it's been a
long time since i've uploaded the tracks and they're still
not available! anyone know if they're having problems? if
any of the artists i've remixed would like, i would be happy
to send them the mp3 in msn messenger or soulseek. e-mail
me or post reply. sorry for the delay, everyone!

Ehm.. how do I make a samplepack? What do you want me to put
in it? I've never done this before.

Do i just take every track (or loop) and put it in a zip, or
should i do something like a acid-zip-file? Do you want the
drums, or possibly softsynth-sounds, or just the entire
loop?

drunken mastah - i guess what i'm looking for is the
separate sounds in wav files or mp3s. so for instance, take
the drum riff by itself (so that it's a continuitous loop)
and make it into a .wav or high-quality .mp3 file. and then
once you've done this for the main parts, you can just give
me some synth sounds you used or whatever, and then collect
them in a .zip or .rar file. i can't use acid foundry files
because i don't have that program. hm, that wasn't the best
explanation...

offline big from lsg on 2003-12-12 12:13 [#00988363]

it's great man!
it's like the fixed remix ep for broken from nin: completely
assfucked (or whatever that one song is called), but i
actually hear parts of the track and you used the
drumsamples: cool.
hope you'll do a lot more fucking up in the future,
your pal, big

he, there you are: were you able to open the program or did
you use the midi samples and the original mp3? i think the
last

oh, i wasn't able to use the program, actually. i could
only find the mac version. so instead i used the source
midi and the mp3. but i think it worked out well anyway!

how funny you love that album, that assphuck song or
whatever it's called i found a bit noisy though, i'll listen
to it again than, it's also been skipping since the first
time i got it.
you my main remixer, your dude,
big

offline r40f from qrters tea party on 2003-12-12 21:01 [#00989090]
Points: 14210 Status: Regular

your cd might not actually be skipping. the first track on
that cd is a remix of gave up by coil and most of it is this
stuttering, choppy effect. it's really great.

offline big from lsg on 2003-12-13 09:41 [#00989489]
Points: 23727 Status: Regular | Show recordbag

ill have to dig it up...
the skipping was given away by the counter, what a spoil
once i was in a car playing confield and people, or me got
bored with the ending of the last track so i forwarded, and
even after trying a few times, i just couldnt hear the
diffence forwarding or normally playing :D mainly because of
the random beats in it.
so you like that too, i guess, how'd you like gantz graf
then? too melodic?
