these boys are pretty sweet... they have a 6 track ep out
on Soul Jazz called Beat Taspe Personalities, and a 7 track
ep out on Eastern Developments called Beats From the Binas
House... just lovely, groovy hip hop beats... a bit of the
eastern-dev stutter at times... they should be releasing
their debut full length on Plug Research pretty soon too...
you should check 'em out

i got their "sounds like everything" today, this is surely
one of best things i've heard in a long time...those tunes
with piano samples remind me of dj shadow's earlier stuff.
and i only listened to it once rapidly :)

:)

not me...this is my first time listening to their stuff, im
pretty sure.

i listened to that "stereo X5:15 PT 1" like 15 times in a
row already...and if i wouldnt have to go to work now i'd
belistening to it another 30 times :)

yes... ,my favourite tracks are from the one they put out on
SoulJazz.... i think that one is called "Beat Tape
Personalities"... all their releases have been good so
far... they are also involved with Hu-Vibrational, who've
just released something new on plug research, i believe...

thanks...
looks like i'll be getting more stuff...i got like 10 albums
in the past week but i've been only listening to this
amonncontact one (and exhibitionist), actually now i like
some tracks even more to those two i listed above.
don't know nothing about hu-vibrational either...similar
stuff i guess...gonna chech them out too :)

i actually haven't heard any Hu-vibe myself... should be
good though... probably a little more acoustic... a little
more "bandy"... there are several instrumentalists
involved...

on a hip hop kick right now... or is just a coincidence that
it's come up twice now?

i see...still not sure if by "on a hip hop kick right now"
you mean the whole mb or me in particular. if you mean me, i
haven't listened to my solaar in a long time, surely not for
at least 2 years...i got that poirier quite some time ago,
but i remember liking it a lot - actually i was trying to
find the cd earlier, no luck tho :)...
but im getting into clouddead currently...i wouldn't say im
in a hip hop mood cuz there's always some nice hip hopish
album around which i listen, just to break the dull
electronica music :)

yeah... i'm the same way... hip hop is so easy to listen to
so i listen to it quite frequently...
