max expression),

any counterpoint, ill have a look in my cd's

fuck: ill miss two pages by glass, for reich, sold the fuck
out!

Desert music, tehillim, if i must believe the brochure some
of his best works, i dont know them actually, it's prolly to
symphonic for me, maybe i wont go..

documentairy on City Life, with the a discussion with the
master himself (agáín), The Cave

Bolero ( yuk!)
Pärt, Cantus in mem of Benjamin Britten
The four sections,
De Staat (72-76) by Louis Andriessen

Electric Counterpoint
Epitaphium, stravinsky

sweet man!

"im ashamed to say im not sure ive heard

counterpoint is a technique in composition... if youve
listened to any Bach, youve heard it :)

yeah i know! i am exited about seeing in c live, i hope
those students arent so nervous they're done in 30 bars :D i
hope it goes on and on
too bad i cant see two pages live, as i said
im wondering wether i should plan seeing eight lines, i dont
know that, so that'll be a nice surprise maybe
yes, i remember from music history zeus, thanks, but it's
names from compositions of reich too. i have heard electric
counterpoint. i dont know wether the counterpoints are
anything like the phases.

I'm going Desert Music. one of his most beautiful pieces.
"too symphonic"..? fuck no! as far as I've heard, he hasn't
made anything "too symphonic"..

you don't know Peter Schat? he was a composer from Utrecht,
died a few years ago. he was of the same group as Louis
Andriessen. he wasn't very good, though.

Webern is VERY cool, btw. as is Ligeti.

there will be ligeti too, ill sadly miss that
i think music for 18 musicians too symphonic, or normal
sounding, ill go see desert music then i guess.
peter schat's website i spelled out once, i now remember,
very cool yes, i got there through bieslog actually.
webern i like a lot, yes, ive seen it once performed in
vredenburg by music students, they did eight lines there a
few weeks ago actually: that's prolly why something in
utrecht, with two pages, is the only thing already sold out

desert music wasn't that great. a bit too smooth..

saw "the cave" today. I thought the second part was much
better, picks up a bit of speed then.

that evening certainly wasnt the best, also i like those
works least.
best were: three tales, definitely getting the dvd
the cave, paino phase, ligeti (have to get everything of
him), bring in da fonk (really great), sextet, bartok
tonight was great too: very autechrish by the vision and
sound department, and african drums by the drumming
departement. got a free cd of the first too!
