I definitely want to get this game! And I will, eventually.

But first i'm gonna be buying 1080 Avalanche :-)

(if you live in the netherlands and register both mariokart
& 1080 avalanche, nintendo will send you the Zelda
Collectors Edition disk for free :-p And I want to have both
those games anyway so...)

But Viewtiful Joe looks very sweet :-)
I love the graphical style, I love that it's 2D, I even love
the word "Viewtiful"! And I haven't even played it yet, it's
supposed to be really good. Slowing time down, trying to
defeat the enemies as viewtiful as possible... i can't wait!

oh, this game is quite good, it took me a long to beat the
boss of the first level, but i did. yeah george, im looking
forward to 1080 avalanche too. do you like ssx too?

eternal darkness is great, i have been stuck on this one
boss for like half a year though.

SSX3 is excellent. I never really liked SSX Tricky, but this
is a brilliant game. Sure, some of the unlockable stuff
(namely some of the clothes) is a bit unneccesary, but it
adds longevity to the game. 2 Player mode is pretty
faultless as well. The best thing about it is that it really
feel as though you're going down a mountain- you're never
shepparded into a narrow ravine or along any one route...
the off piste tracks are fantastic too.

A great soundtrack too, NERD, Qbert, Dan The Automator,
Chemical Brothers, Aphrodite, etc.

I know looks aren't everything, but I'm really not impressed
with the graphics in 1080 and for this sort of game,
graphics are important.

(ommercial break) i got my scII only yesterday bu i had a
good preview in GameOn (god bless that fair). the weapon
master feature seems cool and i loved part 1 on dreamcast.
plus the cube controller is like made for my hands.

i can't believe they are selling the cube for only 99 euros
nowadays. it's an amazing console!

I haven't played ssx! All i know is that 1080 was fantastic
on N64 :-)
I can't wait to play it on gamecube. It'll probably be more
or less the same... but with much smoother graphics, and
ofcourse i can use my gamecube-controller :-p (my
N64-controller is all worn out... i'd really like to buy a
new and unused N64-controller somewhere :-/).

I spent almost all day playing Animal Crossing again...
i cannot believe how addictive this game is! I just love the
totally stress-free gameplay :-p
Calmly wandering around town, talking to my neighbours...
not an enemy in sight. It's so sweet. I have the game turned
on almost 24/7. Whenever i'm not playing i like to keep it
on too... maybe i'm crazy :-p

Receiving letters in my mailbox is just as exciting as
receiving "real" mail, haha... it's crazy. Some of those
Animals are really starting to feel like friends of mine.

I also won the fishing tourney, go me! :-p
The prize was Tennis for NES. Which is okay but very
difficult.

"It'll probably be more

Sorry to disappoint you, but it is by all accounts very
arcadey whereas 1080 on the N64 was more realistic, more
like a snowboard simulator. :(

hm... that sounds disturbing. Maybe I should rent it first
then :-/

The problem with racing games (i don't know if 1080 is
technically a "racing game" but whatever) that feel
arcadey... well... i usually love them the first couple of
days, they give me a real adrenaline rush... but they get
boring very quickly :-(

Hm... bad news.
How do you know this, by the way... it hasn't been released
yet has it?

whoa, neeta, havent seen you online in a while. :) how are
you?

animal crossing is fun george, but after a while i kind of
just stopped, it got more tedious trying to pay off the
house additions since the amoutn keeps getting higher.

weekend, and it's very fun!

Finished that last week... it's great fun but I dunno about
the longeivity of it... the battle games are poor and the
versus not much cop either.

RE: 1080, I'd go along with Ceri, the 64 version was
brilliant (the best use of the rumble pak on the console,
imo) but I played a level of the cube version and it was
very weak. Didn't seem to bear any resemblence to the 64
version either, just another arcade snowboarding game...
shame.

Viewtiful Joe I'd like to try before buying.

"it got more tedious trying to pay off the house
additions since the amoutn keeps getting higher.
"

?!?
But money is ridiculously easy to find :-p
Shake a tree, sell your old stuff to Nook, catch fish (some
rare fish are worth ALOT. Infact Tom Nook pays money for
alot of things. Even the shells on the beach seem to be
valuable to him). It also happened to me a couple of times
that money came from a rock when i hit it.

Well either way... i just get rich very easily while playing
the game :-p
I just got a basement installed in my house today. It's
great! Finally a place to store all that junk ;-)

I can very much imagine growing tired of this game myself
sometime. Even though it never ends, eventually you'll have
done everything there is to do anyway.

But i know 100% sure i'll be playing it every
saturdaynight for about a year :-p Just to catch K.K.
Slider! I just love his tunes! Seriously, if nintendo
released a cd with his songs on it, i would buy it and
listen to it all the time.

So far i have K.K. Salsa, K.K. Etude, Senor K.K. & K.K.
D'n'B. All of them are very sweet. Especially hearing him
sing it live. They're still fun tunes if you listen to them
on a radioset, but there's nothing like hearing him play his
guitar and singing along :-)

thats disappointing to hear the change in style in 1080.
still i'll have to play it for myself before forming what i
think. ssx3 looks very good, the whole idea of having the
entire mountain is what ive been waiting for(dark summit had
that but it had several flaws, still a fun game for at least
a rent). goodbye ssx tricky...

shark is a piece of cake compared to what you got to face
later on in the game
