I think 2003 is better than 2002 for electronic music. What
do you think?
Here below some example:

2002
------

Boards of Canada - Geogaddi
Global Goon - Vatican Nitez
Astrobotnia pt.1, pt.2, pt.3
Squarepusher - Do you know Squarepusher
Autechre - Gantz Graf ep
Plaid - P-Brane ep

2003
------

Autechre - Draft 7.30
Aphex Twin - 26 mixes for Cash
Plaid - Spokes
LFO - Sheath
Cylobotnia
Amen Andrew - vol. 1,2,3,4,5
Luke Vibert - YosepH
Rephlexions compilation

tough call... there's been tonnes of good stuff in both
years... but i'd lean towards 2003...

Definately 2002. You just can't beat those Astrobotnia
releases.

of course 2003 isn't over yet... and i rather suspect, that
for most of us, 2002 isn't really over either...

id say 2003, but because of any releases on that list :) ,
well perhaps just rephlexions and 26 mixes...

both great years thoygh I still miss something like in 2001

anyway draft and 26 mixes makes 2003 a great album

but astrobotnia, geogaddi and dyks? is too much

wow I cant decide

For music all round, I bought seven new albums in 2002, and
thirty-three this year. So that says my preference, I think.

Yes, from this year. I've bought about a hundred all year,
thirty of them being new releases.

2003 gets the nod in my mind, by a hair... 2002 had some
disapointments for me, like Amon Tobin and Squarepusher,
releases I was really looking forward. None such bombs this
year. But neither year comes anywhere near the overally
dominance of 2001 though. And definitely not ninteen
sixtyfuckin' nine.

you got anything to back that up, or are you running on
pure, innocent hope here? I cant see aphex doing anything
major like an album from now on. Mabey a single or to, or a
remix, mabey he will start to work with other artists, but
not an album.
