I was sat in my car on the way to work and i put on
'without you im nothing' by placebo. Really captured the
moment, sitting in the rain on a cold november morning. What
albums capture this time of year with you?

All Boards of Canada and Freescha, first and foremost...
Chiastic Slide and most of Autechre as well.

OK Computer has always been a winter album for me... it even
starts off with Christmassy sleigh bells! Hood- Cold
House... most Belle and Sebastian, despite the arrangements,
gives me a cold, bleak feel... SAW 85-92, Echo and the
Bunnymen... Ulrich Schnauss, M83, Arovane, Four Tet for some
reason, Johnny and Edgar Winter (...), lots of stuff.

More music reminds me of fall though, fall is by far my best
season... for everything.

Four Tet, boy is that guy underrated... I have (read:
burned) all his albums... Dialogue and Rounds are fantastic,
but that isn't what we're talking about now is it?

Testify, brother, testify. And don't forget Pause.

I'll also have to add Mum, Herrmann und Kleine, and
Lexaunculpt to The List de Winter.

i saw them live once, i thought they were awesome, but that
was like, when i was 16, easily impressionable, and it was
an album for an era type of thing. It was their first UK
tour. You know how an album can define an era really easily?
Like for me, when i was around 16ish, there was OK Computer,
fat of the land, and that feckin reef album [or was that the
year before?]. And that fucking bush song... swallowed.
Anyway point is, the first placebo album was one of those
types of albums, and thats why i went to see them, and thats
why i loved it
