Here's an old track of mine, . It's very minimal, with a long build (part of the reason it took so long to put online was that zebox didn't like it due to the length of the track- about 9 minutes). I'd recommend looping it (it loops quite seamlessly) as background music perhaps for sleeping to. If you want something energetic or "fun" this ain't it, so don't waste your time DLig it. As always, comments are welcome. NB I only really made this available as MP3.com is going down shortly and otherwise I'd have no way of hosting it. |

Im always totally honest.....I was NOT feeling the track at all ;) no offense but to my ears that track was "horrible" when it comes to your standard. I think u wanted to get some kind of Biosphere/Gas minimalist ambient experiment thing going but it was way to simple to keep my attention for 9min. |

I appreciate your honesty and the fact that you said "when it comes to your standard" softened the blow a lot ;) The track stemmed from two things- one a film board of canada piece I saw at ATP and liked the soundtrack to (I tried to recreate it in the percussion) and the other was making an ambient piece that looped nicely. I suppose whilst it fulfilled those criteria, it's not very good as a "piece of music"... I've got to admit, I rarely listen to it, whereas a lot of my tracks I play at least once a week. Promo: Yep, gotta get at least three of them semi-finished by Tuesday so I'm still working on them, but I don't want to put extracts of them up till I'm 100% happy with them though. They're nothing special, just your normal Drum and Bass fare- the sort of thing you find on white label 12"es up and down the country. I was working on them today and started thinking they need more instrument in them- they're too barebones at the moment... eXXailon: I think you already have (versions) of most of them on the "super special never available for download" CD? ;) |
