This and Metallica's Black Album may very well be the albums
that converted me into a hardcore music fan for life. A lot
of mediocre filler among all the great tracks, but the
artistic ambition really had an effect on me. I miss Billy's
hair.

one of the best things about the smashing pumpkins is they
gave birth to tricky's pumpkin.

I agree that it has some filler but it's got enough great
songs to make it a solid album nonetheless.

And Opheck, Billy shaved his head during this period.

i think machina has some very strong songs on it. Stand
inside your love, wound, age of innocence, this time, the
everlasting gaze... those are some of my all time fav sp
songs.

But his lovely head was most definitely covered with hair in
the Bullet video and on on the inner sleeve.

AphexTriplet- I loved Machina... much maligned for the
over-production, but I think it worked well. The gloss is my
favorite thing about the album, and I usually don't like
overly polished crap.

Little? He's 6'3''! But yeah, he's too scrawny and lanky to
rise above ''pussy'' status, that I agree with.

Did anybody else realize his image/attitude switched when he
found out who Marilyn Manson was? Billy Corgan is not real,
his music is all fake.
