Rumour has it, a source within 20th Century Fox has posted the following: FOX is shooting for a PG-13 rating and a running time of somewhere between 3 to 4 hours. They are hoping for the DBZ movie saga to be 4 episodes long (4 movies). Starting in The Saiyan Saga, The Frieza Saga, The Android/Cell Saga, and the Majin Buu Saga. George Lucas' CGI company ILM has signed a contract to do the special effects. Some sad news, due to casting and scheduling difficulties, filming that was set to begin real soon has been put off until Summer 2004. The original Release Date. Once the movie is finished filming and all post-production effects are added in, this movie may not be out until well into 2005. As of right now there is no definite title. The most obvious choice would be plain "DragonBall Z", but FOX is also leaning toward "DragonBall Z: Unlimited" or "DragonBall Z: Fight For Man Kind." None of this information is confirmed. |

i'll be absolutely amazed if this turns out good. i don't even like thinking about it. the dragonball z world is so strange... i just can't see the translation to live action movie. Verne Troyer could play Krilin haha that's wrong! krillin's short, but he's not a midget! |

no idea. it was rumored a while ago on aintitcool, but i haven't heard anything else since. i personally could care less about dbz, its just an excuse for panning shots of people breathing hard and close ups of sweat beads and people forming orbs and getting blown into crators. no real plot, just a series of stupid pointless battles. |

I can't even take a half hour DBZ cartoon, but a 3-4 hour (?!?!?!?) movie? God no. But whatever floats your boat I guess. |

well, this movie is gonna suck but if they manage to contain ALL sagas into 3 hours it might actually have a decent level of story. The main problem with the show is that they take hours to actually do anything. I mean, there are entire episodes devoted to charging up before a fight. That sucks. |
