here goes:

I was waiting to bid on an auction and the seller retracted
it "due to an error" (or some simular message) it was due to
the fact the mother fucker didn't want to put a reserve, and
wasn't making what he wanted to skrew the buyers for, so he
some how retracted it. So what happens to the buyer? The
auction was nearly over...about 30 mins left. Does anyone
know of any rule that if this were to happen to me, i could
invoke when i try to contact ebay and fight it?

I don't know about sellers retracting their ware, but you
can retract your bid as a bidder quite easily.

There was no sale. He retracted, quite legally according to
ebay rules, before it was finished. You haven't got a prayer
basically, move on nothing to see here

i sold gak and hangable auto bulb on ebay back in 99, before
i had a record player, and sadly enough i will probably end
up paying double for both on ebay now that i have a record
player and want them... it was back when warpmart found
them both in their stockroom or whatever and sold them for
like 5 bucks a piece. sigh.
