This song is proof that a giant monkey robot is not
always a bad thing.

destroy all monsters is the bomb

I recently watched gunhed,.. it's fucking hilarious,.. the
storyline makes no sense, the fighting scenes are all close
up and sloppy,.. and it still kicks arse!

Giant robo is pretty cool,.. it's got an old astroboy style
to everything,.. and the mechs look kinda old egyptian

raxephon is like evangelion but more "arty farty",.. I like
it

robot carnival is a worthy buy, it contains some short films
of robots doing htere thing,.. some of them are good,.. some
of them are bad, if you find it cheap,.. I'd get it

patlabour 1&2 is less focused on the mechs and more on the
characters,.. I really really like these movies,.. and the
mechs scenes,.. however few,.. are awe inspiring

Gundam is supposed to be the founders of the whole mech
thing,.. but I have yet to see any of it..

macross plus is fucking brilliant,.. watch it,.. it's one of
the "must see's"

don't get gasaraki,.. it screams all type of crap

"this hand of mine glows with an awesome power, and it tells
me to grasp victory!!!!"

Rule no1 when using giant robots in your operations for word
domination :
STAY OUTTA JAPAN !!!
reasons :
(1) if Godzilla doesnt get you a giant moth, bat looking
teradactyl, bug,turtle or porcupine will...
(2) Toho will sue, and so will Manga for use of Giant Robots
in the attak.. and that will put a damper on your OPERATION
TITANIUM ASS TOKYO STOMP for you will be in court...
(3) Gungdams are everywhere ! and i mean it !!! they pop
outta everywhere , and gigantor is in MT fugi thatll
seriously fuck you over...
and finally (4) JApan has ninjas! and theyll kill anyone! i
heard that a Ninja was at a resturaunt and some guy dropped
his fork and he killed the whole town! Ninjas Flip out
frequently and chop the heads off kids for liking pokemon ,
imagine what will happen u commin in there with mechas?!
theyll go APeSHiTZ on you!

anyone else got any other rules like the above? its
amusing...

I don't really like ''Mech Simulators'', but I LOVE the
Front Mission series, turn based strategy combat ala Final
Fantasy Tactics, Vandal Hearts, Shining Force et al... but
with mechs instead of knights.

I was in the bookstore today, perusing the magazines, and I
came across a peculiar one that said "GIANT ROBOT" as the
title. It appeared to be some sort of native-american
activist underground magazie, but what a bizarre title.
