So who would win? In a fair fight I mean - a shark or an alligator?
Perhaps a shark?
Anyone disagree?

Well, there are about 400 species of shark or something... from tiny little cuties to large, fierce non-cuties. I guess it would depend on which shark you put in the ring. A Great White could more than hold it's own, a Pygmy would be sodomized.

My Hexapus could destroy any shark or gator in 5 seconds though.

A think on a good day a large alligator could take down an average sized shark. If the water was shallow enough the shark would be fucked.

I could beat a shark if it was small enuff and I had my rambo knife. better yet, I'd poke his eyes out with my index finger.

But could you beat an alligator? And if not...what does that say about our debate?

But Crocodile Hunters are a dime a dozen these days... you show me a Shark Hunter, and I'll be impressed.

I think I would have to insist on no weapons or any implements whatsoever. That would cut down the number of croc hunters methinks. Lets's see how the Croc Hunter does then.

I wouldn't fucking bet on that nacmat. Best thing to do is either punch it on the nose or go for the eyes, but even then, your survival rate is pretty fucking close to zero.

I'd say a gator.Because they stand they're ground when attacked, whereas sharks flee.Sharks only attack easy prey.
Gators have been know to try eating large male elephants. Actually if a shark was to attack you the best thing to do is kick it in the nose when its coming for you because then it won't be able to find you,as they don't use eyesight, only smell and vibrations.Another good thing is sticking your hands in its gills as if won't be able to breath.Going for its eyes is only good for when it has hold of you as it causes pain too it.If you happen to see a shark attack watch its eyes, when it takes a bite its eyes automatically close, for protection.
Also as sharks find prey due to vibrations, gators naturally stay still and are harder to find, also it is not normal for a shark to attack prey that is not thrashing around.

believe me is safe if you keep calm
sharks are not rally wanting to eat a human, if they attack is for accident, confusion... but if they receive a punch in the nose (front) they leave
