Infinite CD For Unlimited Music.
as the title implies. : )

Steve Roden - Forms Of Paper:
(lowercase) music, made only using paper... folding,
tearing, etc...

Kuwayama / Kijima - 01.06.16:
violin and cello, recorded at midnight near a highway. i'm
thinking of ordering it, it sounds very nice from that i've
heard. : )

Reynols - Blank Tapes:
yes, as the name implies. a recording of blank tapes. (what
doesn't mean silence, by the way. i like the sound of it.)

Matmos - A Chance To Cut Is A Chance To Cure:
you all know this one, right...? : )
made from sounds of surgery and other medically related
sounds...

*0 - 0.000:
err... i'll just copy what aquariusrecords.org says about
it...:
"*0 is the mathematically inclined pseudonym for Japanese
puretone artist Nosei Sakata. The name of his project refers
to the multiplication of anything times zero equating zero,
thus giving you an idea of what is sonically in store on his
fourth recording.
Sakata's first few recordings had been attempts by this
Japanese artist to out-muscle Ryoji Ikeda's sine-wave and
bleep constructions, with a great deal of success. Here, his
minimalism achieves its purest form... With the exception of
the two 1000hz sinewave test tones which bookend this
recording, the tones which Sakata uses are so extreme as to
be not only outside of our speaker's frequency range, but
also outside the range of human (or at least my) perception.
While the only two tones used are the ultrasound frequency
of 20200hz and the infrasound frequency of 14hz, he does
break from his harsh minimalism on one track to layer these
two frequencies together. The prinicple is that when two
frequencies such as these are layered together a secondary
tone (somewhere smack inbetween the two at around 10000hz)
should be audible. The problem is that if the speakers can't
produce the frequencies, the secondary frequencies can't be
heard. A noble concept, even if it doesn't really work for
us

......A noble concept, even if it doesn't really work for
us puny mortals / puny stereos.

(if you think that's a bit pulling your leg and a silly
pretentious concept, so do i ^^)

Nurse With Wound - Chance Meeting On A Dissecting Table Of A
Machine And An Umbrella:
from what i've read, this was recorded while Steven
Stapleton and the other musicians didn't even know how to
play their instruments... they just bought them, tried them
for 30 seconds to see how they worked and then they stopped
recording... - - - and now the band is lasting for more than
20 years, that first record got 4.5 stars out of 5 at AMG,
and it's re-released. : )

feel free to add if you know more!

i like Ryoji Ikeda too, but for *0 i fear you'd just hear
nothing and damage your speakers/headphones...

That's some bizarre ish.

I'd like to hear a Confield/Draft-esque release done just
with mouth, tongue and teeth... several sets. Beat boxing, I
guess.

Although it's fairly tame by today's nutty standards, my
favorite ''concept'' of all is The Who Sell Out... brilliant
pop songs with catchy radio jingles by The Who between them,
like you're listening to a radio station.

Zaireeka... I've got some different mixes of it via MP3 and
I've played around with two CD players but I've never
bothered to do the whole thing... too much hassle. I'd
rather have a nap.
