2+2=5 = great. That and Where I End And You Begin are my favourites on the album.
Actually, although I rather enjoy the album, they're the only songs on it that I particularly like.
The b-sides are looking a bit poor, though. No new tracks? Peh.

God, I just can't agree at all...
As much as I hoped (prayed) that this album would be good, it's utter crap compared to their past 3 albums. It's like they went backwards. I fucking hate most rock music because it's all a rehash of things done before. . . yet they decided to go "back to rock". . . Yeah, that's fine, but it's boring... and utterly predictable. There is not one surprising moment on that album. . . I could see around every bend what was coming next.
Kid A, OK Computer, and Amnesiac are all miles ahead of HTTT. They were afraid of obscurity, the other band members (other than johnny and thom) felt alienated, and they took the easy way out with easily digestable (read=boring) pop songs.
Don't get me wrong: the album is better than most of what is out right now, esp. in the "rock" world. I still listen to it. But the past albums touched me in a way that no other music ever did. HTTT, while good, is only superficially so, and can never hold that place in my heart.
Kid A, Amnesiac, and Ok Computer made me cry when I heard them... still do sometimes... not from despair, but from awe at the sheer beauty of it... HTTT made me cry too, from dissapointment... It was like a best friend dying... or a best friend getting married and not being open with himself and me anymore. I keep hoping I just need to listen to it more and I'll see... but its been several months now and .... nothing. :(
-flame on. Not trying to fight, but it's been bothering me for some time.

yeah, HTTT is a great album... and I guess this is because it's new and fresh to me, but it's currently my favorite album of theirs...
I'm glad in Canada that Radiohead aren't TOO huge... Radiohead are popular enough that everyone knows them, you can get their albums easy enough, etc, etc... but they're never played on the radio, and rarely on muchmusic... so, they don't get overplayed!
