On the Underworld OST...is kinda...awful...
sounds more like an oHgR track than a Skinny Puppy one...

Otto Von Schirach is supposedly working on thier next album
with them...fingers crossed for something far better then...

its not necessarily new... a few months old, but...

yeah, it sucks. i dont even think it sounds like ohgr. it
sucks.

and according to key, its a dance mix of a song from the
album... so im sure the original will be better and much
more good.

that is all.

yeah it does sound pop...I have to give it more time I
guess....I hated WELT for a longtime and then suddenly it
kinda grew on me....the idea of Ogre singing in couplets and
rhymes is still kinda new and just a bit silly to me...

I thought it was great. I read an interview somewhere that
Otto Von Schriach is going to be the new Third Member of
Skinny Puppy.

Every Skinny Puppy album is different so I won't hold it
against them if they release an IDMish album. cEvin key said
on litany (skinny puppy news site) that he thinks
SQuarepusher and Autechre are like the cream of the crop
right now.

Change is good !

IDMish is not the issue here...they have been doing IDMish
for the past 10 years with downLOAD plateau and solo Cevin
Key albums...infact I would expect nothing less...

but this track is..less than..anything...

Have you ever gotten "charlie's family"? I passed it up
because reviews said it was noise-ish. I shouldn't trust
reviews at all though. Yeah, I'd-ish say that "the eyes of
stanley pain" is sophisticated-ish like "idm"-ish.

cevin key's "the ghost of each room" is a modern triumph of
electronic music.

VERY good album, better than most of his post-puppy work.

Charlie's Family is one of my favourite and yes it is
incredibly noisy and scary as fuck, but it's all electronics
based noise, and it has some kicking atmospheres and
rhythms. It IS a difficult album, a sound track for a film
about Charlie Manson that never actually got released.

ooh,
bold statement. but i agree with you if by "most of his
post-puppy work" you are referring to III.

I hope there will never be any more soiling of the Skinny
Puppy legacy, especially in album form. Keep The Process as
the last album... I actually kind of liked that one.
