Has this been done before? I was looking at it in the
'ography and I accidentally clicked it sort of... If it
has...sorry!

But, yeah, so have I. I've had exams, and I always listen to
this when I'm studying. It puts you in the right mood.

Sensational album.

I can't really listen to it other than when I'm reading. It
just bores me. But when I've got a book I want to sit down
with for like, four, five hours - I stick this on first.
Doesn't always go with the atmosphere of the book but when
it DOES it's awesome :)

I dunno wtf WPCR stands for though.

I dunno when the best time to listen to it is, at night time
when you dont care about waking up anytime in the morning,
so you can listen for a while, cause for me to appreciate
the CD i need to listen to a couple tracks, which can take a
while, but i totally love SAWII, its one of my favourite
from Aphex Twin.

Its defenitly a trip to listen to, high or sober.

top avatar, reflex!

I fell asleep listening to SAWII on the couch with my cat
peacefully sleeping by my side. It was very relaxing. Other
times I listen to it staring out onto the ocean.

It's just timeless.

Jesus, I can't sleep when I'm listening to this. There's too
many tracks I find really unsettling.

Best time for me to listen to it is home alone on rainy
evenings, upstairs on the big stereo. It doesn't rain often
enough though.

naw it never fuckin rains enough, but it alawys seems to
snow too much, wtf.

I hate it, and dispise it... and the fact that STONE IN
FOCUS ISN'T EVEN ON THE DAMN CD VERSION just gets on my
nerves even more... Stone in Focus is the best damn song on
the thing... why leave it off the cd version? I swear, this
is the one case where I'd take the vinyl over the cd...

don't take this personally... it's just my opinions! :)

I love it.

I imagine it should be a shock when it came out... as
everybody shall be expecting something like the previous
ambient works

i dont hate it, i just dont want to listen to it and cant
see why anyone likes it :S it seems like a whole load of
boring nothing to me, i cant see how it can freak anybody
out, i cant focus on any track for more than 30 seconds
before my mind wanders and only stops when the albums' gone
off....

call me a wuss or whatever you want to call me, but as far
as repetitive and subtle music is concerned... I guess
ambient, but not really... I like the music to be
pleasant... it a song is going to repeat a melodic line or
something for 10 minutes, it better damn well be a excellent
melodic line... but I find SAWII to just be so boring... to
repetitive... it's not relaxing even, overall... so I can't
put it on to sleep, or relax too... hmmm, I don't like it at
all... I prefer Music for Airports to sleep too!

I think it works well as background music, but it's hardly
something you'd put on and analyse. And Stone In Focus, I
dunno WHY that song gets so much praise, I think it's crap!

One of my favourite albums. I love the mood. It's so eerie.
It's dark, but in a subtle and mature way. It reminds me of
being alone in the country on a rainy day. Rhubarb and
Lichen are painfully beautiful. Grass is the most eerie
thing I've ever heard. Windowsill is the definition of
sinister. I think I'm going to listen to it in a minute. I
want to hear any other tracks he did at the same time as
this. I can't imagine they'd be bad, because I can't imagine
anything like this would be bad. As opposed to Funkmaster, I
think the melodies on the album are fantastic, which is why
I don't mind the reptition or minimalism.
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous.
