I've been told C is a cunt to learn. Then again, the friend
who told me had to learn the entire programming language in
about 9 weeks for uni...

if you have some experience you can learn it in a few
weeks.

i learnt c++ in 3 weeks, with a little experience with
'object oriented' turbo pascal its plain easy. and it's good
to have around someone to ask

Yeah! C is actually a subset of C++ so it not that complex.
To learn all the clues and tricks takes some time, but
syntax itself is easy as pie ;)

How you figure that C is a subset of C++? C is a very
complex language and very very powerful.

C and C++ have just a very similar syntax but C++ is OBJECT
oriented that's a TOTALLY different approach of
programming.
If it's your first time programming I suggest you start
learning Data Structure and ALgorhythms basics in an
introductory book/ It will prevent you from becoming a bad
programmer like 90% of the open software community. Work
your basics, make specifications of your tasks and drink
coffee to STAY AWAKE.

Supposed to be object orientated :P
