i saw "whip it" by devo in a swiffer commercial a few months ago, they changed it to "when a problem comes along, you must swiffer!" and then this mom-cleaning-the-house figure starts doing a crazy robot dance. i think aphex's "come to daddy" would work really well in a vacuum cleaner commercial. it sounded to me as if that cure track was remixed for the commercial also. and as was pointed out, the band usually does not own the commercial rights for its own music, their parent corporation does... |
