"Pictures of You in a FREAKIN'"

i thought this thread was going to be so much different

----------
it's a possibility that the cure had no say in this. coulda
been their label's sole decision. not all artists have
control over their recordings.

I understand what the words mean individually but when you
put them together in that combination it makes absolutely no
sense to me.

ie: OMGWTF?

i saw "whip it" by devo in a swiffer commercial a few months
ago, they changed it to "when a problem comes along, you
must swiffer!" and then this mom-cleaning-the-house figure
starts doing a crazy robot dance.

i think aphex's "come to daddy" would work really well in a
vacuum cleaner commercial.

it sounded to me as if that cure track was remixed for the
commercial also. and as was pointed out, the band usually
does not own the commercial rights for its own music, their
parent corporation does...

nacho ........you're FREAKIN' me out.......i'm so scared!!!!

looks like your about to throw fire bolts
.....shazzzzzzzaaaaaaam! =o)

i would be really surprised if the cure didn't own the
RIGHTS to that song.....it wasn't from their first album.

s'ok i don't think they are sell outs.....robert
smith......NEVER! still don't like hearing it in
commercials....it's just so commercial.....baaaaah
