I saw Feed Me Weird Things at best buy, i'm short on cash.
Would it be worth buying for someone who wants a good value
on a CD?

well, the rest of it isn't nearly as melodic as that track.
its just an album that requires repeated listening, and a
liking of percussion and rhythm more than pure melodic
goodness.

in some ways, i mean.... i love the idea.
i like him doing a more organic kinda live performed sound.
i just... hmmm

i dont know. maybe youre right. i really WANT to liek this
album. somehow it just leaves me flat, but hopefully one day
ill click with it.

FMWT is a decent thing, though not one of his best albums.

i would probably appreciate 'FMWT' more if i hadn't heard
'Heavy Weather' by Weather Report, which is an awesome
album.

a lot has been said about Tom's being influenced by Jaco
Pastorius, but you've got to hear 'HW' to believe that
Weather Report's jazzy-fusion stuff is WAY better than Tom's
!

btw... Tom's bass solo from 'The Swifty' sounds exactly like
Jaco's one in 'Havona'... but i hope it was only a king of
inspiration for Tom and not a rip-off (i love all
Squarepusher's stuff tho) :D

Definitely the album set the blueprint for all the
subsequent []< releases, a good investment.

Your All Crazy!

Fmwt is one of the worst albums ive ever heard, its just a
whole load of repetative nothing that seems to go on forever
until you turn it off and instantly forget any of the
so-called tunes that you just heard. >:P
