I've never moved out but I've moved a few times. The moving
objects stuff sucks and leaving the familiar place is no fun
either. Living on your own will probably be great, I'd love
to. It might be weird at first, but you'll probably enjoy
it. :)

Where are you going? College? Apartment?

Leaving home for the first time can be scary...unless you
absolutley despise your home-life and family.

homesick.. but it'll pass.. after like a week it'll be
okay.

I'm just glad im on good terms with my family and they're
helping me out...

I moved out quite soon after I had turned 19 (and started
University in another city).
I think it was all good - one of my best decisions in life
so far (to start at the university).
But you need a reason to move out, other than just to move
out, if you feel good living at home.

*Best wishes*

well almost 4 weeks ago I hoped on a plane and flew to The
Netherlands... and here I've been for the last 4 weeks
almost... it's crazy... I have a whole ocean between me and
my home... and it's retarded, cause I can't read any damn
signs around, and can't understand any commercials on tv...
but it's alright... I get homesick every so often, but I
hardly have time to dwell on it...

the thing I miss the most, besides my family, is my clothes
dryer at home... here we have to hang the stupid clothes up
to dry, and it takes forever!

i moved out in June this year. Its great. Apart from the
whole bills to pay, gotta cook for yourself and do your own
washing thing. Ah well, at least i can do as i please, and
not be afraid of asking girls back to my shagpad.

yeah, that's the kicker... you get freedom... but it's kind
of ironic, cause with that freedom comes more resposibility,
so you're probably less free cause you have less free
time... ahh well... it's nice being on my own for a bit!

this messageboard has kindof become the only vague
interaction i have with you. and the only place i hear about
things that are happening in your life. and to think...you
live fifteen minutes away (or DID, apparently).
that's just plain silly. you pile of silly.

Moving out is wicked.
If I had my own house I'd never have to put on clothes. Or
worry about playing music that's to weird for my friends or
any of that kind of shit.

Hahah this is kind of funny - a few of my friends have an
apartment now and they smoke a lot of ice (rock) so when we
go there, me and my mate always sing "One two three oclock,
four oclock ROCK, five six seven oclock, eight oclock ROCK"
etc etc - the ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK song, coz they smoke
rock around the clock and it's always fun to take the piss,.

I moved out nearly 2 years ago and bought a three bedroom
house to myself , my g/f still lives at home (paying of uni
bills and looking after her unwell mother ) . I enjoy being
on my own most of the time but i find it quite hard to keep
up with the housework & bills ,this should hopefully not be
to much of a problem for u as u are sharing ,good luck .

I moved out on me own about March of this year. The privacy
and all is cool, however keeping up with housework is a bit
tough for me at least. Also, you get lonely at times. It can
be depressing. :-(

i didnt know currupted-girls got homesick too, that's cute
to hear
so i wrecked the thing you open the door with (what is that)
of my roommates washing machine the other day and felled a
bit guilty from that (it's just a roommate by chance) and
got a new one and my roommate installed that while i gave
her the proper tools, like surgery, that was a nice moment.
she actually had a surgical tool, a thing to grab something
with (whats that called) but doesnt open after that. she
said it was really used, but sterilized, how cool is that.
wonder if she has those women surgery tools from deadringers
too, hehe.

this might be somewhat of a tedious post, sorry
