Has anyone besides myself listened to this band? I am
pretty in love with them. I saw them live twice over the
summer, they play all-instrumental proggy metallic math
rock. I recently interviewed the guitarist for a magazine I write for
and he's a really nice/cool guy.

If you're interested at all, here's their website and their
mp3.com page.

what's dysrhythmia anyway? it reminds me of people who can't
keep the beat in order. anyone seen them nodding thier
heads? it's retarded.

Dictionary.com says:
"An abnormality in an otherwise normal rhythmic pattern, as
of brain waves being recorded by an electroencephalograph."

I've read in interviews that one of the guys in the band
came across the word in relation to an irregular heartbeat
and thought it described their music well. I agree.

i had irregular heart beat when i was young. It was long
time ago but its nothing nice - you have to have hole fuckin
therapy to heal it.

I definitely recommend both of their still-in-print records
then. Their first, "Contradiction" is out of print (plus I
don't think it's quite as good as the other two). The
second "No Interference" and third "Pretest" are both really
goddamn good. This band deserves more attention than
they're getting. Spread the word!
