I'm looking for a free domain name, any suggestions ? I
found a place for free URL forwarding but I thought Id check
with this board to see if there is anything better....

I have my own webspace, I just want a www.NAME OF SITE.com.
Any of you web guys got a quick answer that doesnt involve
me spending any money ???

You know what i've gone and done? i've bent my penis. it

those domains, wich includes a big banner covering the lover

it's not that expensive to buy your own domain - just buy
the smallest package with the least functions (i.e the ones
with no sql, php/asp, frontpage ext etc..), and you'll
probably keep it around $40-50/year

unix hosting is usually a lot cheaper than windows hosted
websites, so keep that in mind.

godaddy.com and you can have a domain name for $9 a
year... and they're really easy to work with.

i'm %99.73 sure you can't get a .com name for free....
unless they strap you in to some really sucky agreement
where you'll end up getting royally screwed in the long run.

dot.tk is the best for url forwarding that i've
found. if you're up for that, i'd go through them. but yeah,
as far as a free .com? hmm. i don't think it's possible,
really.
