Grape Nut Beats (Pt. 1) on M-Ziq's latest album Bilious
Paths (which is very good by the way) is actually a remix of
a track called "Witch Hunt" from Bastard Sonz of Rave.

Yeh, I just picked up this CD today, very happy with it!

Ceri - Yes indeed, mu-ziq's remix is very very good indeed!

RDJ often plays a few hellfish and producer tracks in his
sets - he played lots at Reading festival last yr too.
Always gets the crowd spazzing out HAARD!
It's damn good when you're up for some 'ardcore ravin', but
I don't tend to listen to it when i'm sitting about in my
house.

But although some tracks are nice (e.g. Line em up), and I
like their beats (when used well), they are far from my fav
gabberartist.

yeah, rdj is pretty fond of hellfish stuff, i've heard him
play that + some venetian snares, nicely put together...got
the crowd pretty wild hehe

i saw hellfish live two weeks ago...it was ambient stuff
this time

(j/k, it was gabba all the way, and it got me rockin pretty
hard)

Its a pumping adrenaline record, it reminds me of "the
gabber days" (how suprising :P)

I dont listen to it much tho, but when I want to hear some
drilling bass they fit perfectly

Hellfish and Producer are two of the most producers of
hardcore techno music with the french producers
Micropoint,Radium,Manu le Malin,Laurent Hô and Heretik
Sound System, vive le son français !!

the gabber-scene in france is pretty big, right?

since writing that post in this topic... my opnion about the
two artists has changed of course :)
I think DJ Producer's "Witch Hunt" although (not being very
gabberish) is a masterpiece.

top stuff - its worth getting a record player to pick up the
deathchant releases on 12" - i think hellfish has moved to
france recently from what i've heard - a bonus to the french
scene if its true - and he's a top bloke - he sorted me out
a decent copy of no mistakes allowed after i foolishly
bought the us version

yeah... but he's a lurker.. :)
it's just what I've heard. I think the BBC-page about
deatchant mentioned something about the scene being big in
france.
I mean it couldn't be bigger than the commercial scene in
e.g. holland, that'd be mad... but I mean e.g. in sweden the
scene is tiiiiny.
