and probably many more *tries to think* er...

any chance you three, at least, could serve up all the stuff
you've ever posted here, like, ever? :D
my storage drive went balls-up on me yesterday and I lost
loads of mp3s (ok, all of them) including every single track
I've ever downloaded from xltronic peeps EVER! and lots of
other ones too.

and yup Mr Inverted_Whale & co, the freezing trick didn't
work. *sighs* the drive still didn't work, it just went cold
and wet and didn't work.

I know it will probably come as little comfort, but at least
it fucked up before I had made any good stuff...because once
I do you will all be backing up the files in 127 places.

What freezing method are you on about? I hope it was none
of those, stick it in a freezer overnight, then microwave it
for 27 second exactly before slowly roasting it on a spittle
for 38 hour things, finally leaving it to stand on an
eskimos nose for 4 days things. That is no way to recover
data.

It was a freezer for a few hours and then a quick cable up
and see if it goes clunk click at every trip again. It did
so I've concluded it's dead for good. Hope fully it's under
warranty still and I can get a replacement eventually.
Ordered a new one arriving tomorrow. Need to replace the
missing files. The entire Muslimgauze discography... gone
:(( *howls*
