How could i get a synthesized voice to sound as if it was
singing, like not sounding so bland....

I'm sure there is a program for this, i just cant find one.
That song on brain dance is a good example.

i cant remember the program that cylob uses, but i've
managed to do a similar thing.. just use analogx sayit or
something, record the words out to a wav file, then cut each
word into syllables, then use a sequencer to re-arrange it
however you like.. then just put it through a vocoder, or
you can change the pitch of each syllable.. only works if
the voice is monotone though..

just two days ago i purxhased English Translator - what
occured was that there is additional extra thing to install
- synth speech 5.1 - you have 3 voices to control , althoug
they will say everything what you want , but i havent trying
to sing with it.

btw , im making song with thiis voices , so just wait for
results - you will hear it ...:) ( two weeks from now , i
think )

oh , its English Tramslator 3.1 version , but added synth
can be detached i think , install files are making something
about few Mb
about modulation - im recording these phrases as wav. files
, then in some basic wav. studio im cutting them ( whatever
like ) , then , still as wav. files im puting them to
reason2.5 and the modulation is just matter of time - just
turn some swichtes and thats it.

The Nord modular has a vocal filter that turns pretty much
anything sustained into a choir or singing. I have some
patches that speak, one says 'I love you'.

do you have a PC?

If so, what you want is Yamaha's "Vocaloid"

its only for PC...

type in the words, and the melody you want sung, and also
other subtlties of the phrasing...

and it sings it.

ill find an audio demo. Its awesomel

If any of you have an old Creative SoundBlaster 16 or 32,
you might have a software called "TextOLE" or "SoundOLE".
It was a Text-to-speech software, but you could write songs
with it. It was very powerful.

Let's all hit google and whatever search engines you prefer
and dig up ALL the text to speech software.

..But first, let's eat.
