Ah fucking hell. I downloaded it, it got to right at the end and froze. SYMPROXYSVC.EXE went to 100% cpu usage for ages, so I ended it. Tried to download again and it froze at the start and now the buggering zebox claims I've downloaded it 3 times and refuse to acknowledge that IT'S WRONG

Thanks for trying anyway :D
You reckon it was the file causing the freeze or just your comp?

It was my comp. One of my Norton products has this problem with WYMPROXYSVC.exe causing it to take up all system resources. I eventually deleted all trace of what it had downloaded into the cache and tried again. And zebox let me!
So... I like both the clicky percussion and the tuney bits... though they sometimes seem to clash a bit together. But on the whole, quite nifty! :) Me likes.

Well i thought that was very nicely done. I only have one quibble with it, there for me wasn't enough development, i felt the melody creeping about on the background could have been layered and brought out more.
Oh yeah one more thing for that idea to work it needs to be longer.
Still i thought it was a very nice i think you are starting to become very good at what you are trying to do.
Keep it up : )

You shouldn't have gone to all that trouble just to listen to my shit :P Thanks anyway.
The problem with the sounds clashing a bit is because my headphone socket has started going funny and I have just realised I have lost a chunk of frequency somehow. I didn't realise that happened when headphone sockets got fucked :(

Thanks mister :D
I am still just pissing about with sounds and ideas at the moment. I don't get as much time to do it as I would like (but then again who does :D) but I am starting to feel a bit better about getting the ideas out of my head.

Started messing with it today actually...It seems amazing for arranging loops and samples. I had a problem with one of my VST's crashing it to start with so I am adding them back into the folder one at a time.
I am thinking of trying to do a couple of old style techno monsters to see if I can do them...I reckon it will be the perfect package :D

I've just discovered it properly and it's brilliant for moulding things. It's fun making your music normally, then taking it somewhere else and fannying around.

Just downloaded....... the glitchy beat was very two dimensional & doesn't do anything for me & kinda went on a bit, I'm surprised that you made that the main feature of the track to be honest, on the other hand I liked the overall fat, rich sound of the pads & would have really liked to hear a bit more of that.
Stick with it though man :D

just listened to "polluted dreams," stylistically this isn't something that i would really enjoy. there isn't anything to really hold onto, the twitchy percussion just jumps around and obscures the softer sounds behind. i'd say, slow the percussion down, but add more intricate detail to it. and bring out and expand the softer melodic parts, and work on more complete melodic themes. an interesting listen, i interrupted the richard devine ep to listen to it, so maybe that influenced my reaction.

I like the slow motion scratching or speeding up / slowing down tape or whatever it is. Provides a nice contrast to the skittery bits.

i would agree with mr. skink for the most part (and some of what mr. plaidzebra had to say). i do wish that the melody was in the foreground. *shrugs* that's about it, though. oh...except for a bit more development. it never even really builds up to a big nothing. it just kinda stays the same throughout.
yeah. i suck at this. anyways, work with it. i'd say it has room for growth and it's already interesting, so. yes...that's good? yes...i think. right. going now.

I like it (saved to xlt folder). Like the others said, bring out the melody parts and it's perfect the way it is.
