Well he sure is a tunesmith. I think he is as good as a lot of artists out there currently. Technically Squarepusher is of course king but musically things have to work too and everything by Ceephax I just like on first hearing usually which is unusual in my experience. I think when it comes to the experience of listening to a track simply enjoying it is the best indicator whether its the most technical track on the planet or just a damm good tune. I think Ceephax's tunes are just bloody enjoyable so I rate him on a par to many other more 'technical' artists currently. |

I really want to catch ceephax live. i bet he'd be ace. I don't know whether it would be easier or harder with a big bro. in the business. I mean, getting to know the right people and getting gigs might be easier, but you'd be automatically compared to them irrespective of how different your music is. hmmm.... |

I haven't heard any of his remix stuff, but the self titled (BRK39 CD) is damn good. I think it's the first one he released. Good stuff. |
