Just booked my ticket to see em on oct 4th in Birimingham.
can't wait! :) Anyone seen em before live? i've heard a
snares live set on John Peel, was pretty decent. Anyone Else
Going?

i've seen muziq earlier this year, just before bilious paths
was released...nice set he had there, really decent stuff

i havent seen snares yet, but i might do that soon, as i'll
probably see them both on the end of this week in rome

btw, im sure you wont be disapointed :)

i saw em both at dedbeat in febuary.

mu-ziq was realy good, pretty harsh drill & bass, i guess
most of it would have been off billious paths, i recognised
a tune off lunatic harness aswell.

i probably wouldnt be the best person to review snares as im
not a huge fan. was pretty mad though. he had the girl there
singing the "jungle is massive" bits from dance you're
selling nails. not sure he does a live set as such, seemed
like he was mixing cds from what i could see.

oh yeah, he had speedranch on stage with him towards the
end, not sure what he was doing as i was sitting down by
this point (it was about 3am on the second night!), but i
heard he fell off the stage and fucked himself up!

but does he make sense, i mean is there something in his
sets that makes sense or is it just wild and crazy noise?
i mean afx is playing vsnares , hellfish, even noise but
alwas turns out great is it the same way with funk?

well the afx noise sets ive seen supporting bjork and late
at night at glasto this year were shite, but thats a
different story.

hes pretty crazy, very very hard to dance to, though people
seemed to be trying. it was very intense, kind of like being
hit by a wall of sound. he played drill stuff to start with
at dedbeat then went in to what im told was stuff from
making orange things, the gabber album he did with
speedranch. people seemed to be loving it, so id say if you
like his music you wont be dissapointed.

We are hosting the Birmingham gig. should be a corker. Ive
never seen/heard Venetian Snares live but my friends tell me
he puts out a corking show. U-ziq is cool live - seen him a
few times.
