yep....the Fragile was released in 1999 and Things Falling
Apart (The Fragile remixes) in 2000

and yes, a new album from Mr. Reznor would be highly
appreciated! :D

yeah! something lately has sparked a real nin fever for me
:) good timing, i reckon any day now and nin.com is gonna
turn into a tease fest like it did before fragile came out

i can't elaborate but as of earlier this year literally
nothing was going on @ nothing studios. trent was and most
likely still is in a rut where he can't write or record, and
he's in a position with interscope where he can't release
nothing albums (12 rounds, coil, etc.) and probably is
barely getting any money to record, if any at all. don't
expect new nin anytime soon, if ever again. also don't ever
expect tapeworm as charlie and danny, who spent years on the
project, are no longer in contact with trent (as of earlier
this year), and i bet atticus ross of 12 rounds is pissed
that the new 12 rounds album hasn't been released yet,
nearly 2 years after it was finished.

whilst I agree with some of what you said, I find it hard to
believe that he "can't write or record", i'm sure he's
working on something... even if it's not a new nin record.

k, just ignore someone who is offering you exclusive
insight

i will say that the zack de la rocha recording is long, long
finished.. a cd of tracks was in trent's possession in
february (most likely the full album, otherwise just a group
of finished songs)

thought he bailed out of the Doom III work as well?

I also find it hard to believe if he had material, he
wouldn't bankroll the release himself if Interscope was
really trying to fuck him over.

i'm glad someone here is informed.. he DID bail out on doom
III after id told him they weren't going to be putting it
out for a long time because they wanted to start from
scratch with new engines and such. someone new is doing the
soundtrack and sound design.

trent has no power at interscope.

Overrated in industrial circles, underappreciated for his
advancements of rock music...

Trent, when will they understand you ?

i just bought a NIN bootleg from 94 for $6 at a local record
store...makes me feel old, when you can go into a record
store and get a fucking awesome NIN show in the used bin.

i don't care, Trent is still an amazing songwriter and i'm
sure his next record will be worth all the wait (they
usually are).

and i swear to god when i saw NIN live it was the LOUDEST
fucking sound i've ever heard.

huh?

i hope he gets busy, but all evidence is to the contrary.
the thing is....whatever NIN or Trent Reznor comes up with
next i hardly think will resemble what we know as NIN today.
he has to move on, and i think thats part of why he hasn't
put anything out lately other than remixes etc for others.

he's renting out Nothing for other bands to record at.....so
he can keep food on the table! ehhehe
