The first bogdan release i ever heard was samurai math beats. I was blown away. I rushed onto soulseek to download more and since then i've got - Bogdan Raczynski - '96 Drum n Bass Classixxx Bogdan Raczynski - 2222 EP Bogdan Raczynski - Agent 30 - Love Melodies Nintendo Bogdan Raczynski - Boku Mo Wakaran Bogdan Raczynski - Denki Shingon EP Bogdan Raczynski - Live @ Even Further 1999 Bogdan Raczynski - Teddy Bear Magix EP Bogdan Raczynski - Thinking of You Bogdan Raczynski - myloveilove I'm half way thru downloading "Renegade platinum mega dance attack party" aswell. But the only thing is - all i'm doing is searching for something that'll come even halfway close to the greatness of samurai math beats. Everything else i've got by bogdan (apart from live@even further and 1 or 2 tracks on the 2222ep) is, to put it mildly, dischordal SHIT. Even the *MUCH* hyped 'drum n bass classixxx' album i thought was pathetic and simply headwrecking. Is there anyone else out there who feels similarily? I still listen to Samurai at least twice a day, it's still one of my all time favourite albums.. I just wish the guy could make music of similar quality, instead of doing what appears to me as rushing composition (sic) of as much shite as possible and releasing it to the masses. |

Not! SMB is definately his best album, but there are great tunes on all his releases, the Rephlex ones anyway. |

I just find they use the same instruments on them and the same weird melody-styles (which become cliched by the time you've listened to enough of it; they're so similar), and they don't have the same nicely-structured feel as the songs on SMB do (listen to miroshiru for example, it's pure brilliance when he brings back the main first theme @ 4:39 into the song). I take back what I said though, actually, one or two of the songs on the denki shingon EP are great ("bleh" for example..) |

I'm starting to only like listening to bogdan on my discman. And songs I didn't like at first I now love. I don't know why, maybe my speakers are breaking. But I love bogdan raczynski's music, it grows on me. |

Thinking Of You and Ibiza Anthems 4 are also good.. but the rest yeah, pretty crap |

the first 2 albums on rephlex were definitely his best (although i haven't heard the new one yet), but i wouldn't call his music 'shit.' everything by bogdan that i have heard isn't really very 'pollished' but i think thats what i like about it, how the music isn't serious but just fun to listen to. |

I think there is a bit more to his music thoguh, than it just being 'fun'. i think a lot of his personality comes out in it, something i think is missing from a LOT of electronic music. you only have to see him freaking out when he plays live to say that! |

i think my favourite release of his is actually Thinking of You... but i don't think that any one of his albums is good all the way through... not even close... too many songs border on normal, unaffecting d'n'b |

i think his voice really ruins some track, when its a mental beat, and he says "darling i love you " or something similar. e.g. first track off new album. ruins th emood |
