so...
it looks like the crazy big-to-do tropical storm isabella rosselini has passed.
i'm not impressed. it was all a bunch of blowing sounds and rain. im used to that.
just kidding.
it kinda had me freaked out last night. i didnt sleep so good. rained HARD, in an almost horizontal fashion. my dog was brave enough to want to go out and pee in that. i watched from the door.
anyone have any stories about the storm?

Up in upstate new york the storm was very anti-climactic. I woke up this morning to grey skies, no rain. There were some strong gusts of wind, but nothing powerful. It only started raining at around 12. Light rain too.

in the place where i live there are typhoons occasionally, especially in summer... much rain and strong wind. but i guess it's considerably less destructive than that isabella.

i guess not... typhoon (meaning something like 'high water', probably in Chinese) brings more rain than wind, and with a hurricane it's vice versa... but again, i'm not quite sure of that.
