I was outside talking to my mom on the phone, and I though I had some kind of plastic wrapper in my shoe, something slippery. I put my finger in my shoe to get it out and fished out half a cockroach! That's one of the most disgusting things I've ever experienced. AFXnumb will know what I'm talking about when I say that these big fat bugs are just everywhere in Florida. Fuck Florida.

The other half of the cockroach was still in my shoe, by the way. I think it crawled in while I was outside.

Black room: I used to live in Montreal. It's true, the occasional spider no bigger than a bottle cap around, and mosquitos, but that's about it.

If it's gravid, yeah. And then it smells like almonds, so I've heard. Anyway, luckily it wasn't near my toes, but on the side of my foot at the arch. There was some goo on my sock.

Cockroaches and wasps are totally useless. The world could get along without them. I'm sure of it. I hate them equally. I'm a bit scared of wasps though.

yeah - lots of nasty bugs here in texas too. thankfully, i haven't had to deal with as many lately due to the birds and the family of geckos (salamanders?) behind my mailbox taking care of them.
these geckos or whatever have been EVERYWHERE lately though - i don't mind them though, cause they don't go inside my house and fuck things up.

i didn't know they had ticks in sweden. i can attest that holding an engorged tick (filled with the host's blood) in one's hand is completely sickening.
