I have started using it but I am writing my own program for
it...it is pretty basic but I am doing OK at the moment.

i used to make beats out of numbers and then converted them
to soundfiles. fun but noisy.

Just skip the maths part and hit random notes. You won't
hear the difference :)

I was wondering that, but if you use recursive formula and
programmatic loops you can actually get some pretty funky
melodies which don't sound random at all and yet can have
tons of subtle variations.

lisp based environment for mac with all sorts of modules
(chaos, markov chains, cellular automota, fractals, DNA
translation, neural networks, etc.et.ce.etc.) that makes
midi files according to the way you arrange your lisp
program. its fucking cool and i fear i may have to buy cos i
cant find a crack anywhere.
