convince some of you to give it a listen and tell me what
you think. thank you. =]

reason, try here at iuma.

it's good to see your music progressing..
i can remember listening to your "mtv music generator" early

That is awesome at the beginning. I've done lame experiments
where I try to make a complex weird pattern for one
individual note, then use that pattern for each note in a
melody, but it never worked very well. That's sort of what
it does here, where the melody is pretty minimal but the
sounds used in it are very complex. My problem is probably I
make the patterns for the notes too digital, yours is thick
and ambientish. Actually now that I relisten, the panning
part stays the same pitch and only the deep choirish voices
change pitch, but anyway it's hard to get such rich sound in
modplug tracker. The percussion seemed too repetitive at
first but sounded fine and more lifelike when they started
"bubbling". You might try some squarepusher-ish experiments
with percussion for fun. As long as the program you use has
copy and paste you can really dissect and rearrange
percussion patterns, especially is there's plenty of empty
"resolution" space to work with.
