Well, heres some of my drawings for you to look at. Let me
say, i do NOT consider these drawings to be art, i find them
only technical achievements. second, don't call the model a
Ho.. i found her in a flesh magazine for christ sakes... she
is a ho!! With that said, please look at these strictly
impersonal drawings, tell me what you think, and post your
own shit. I've seen some of you out there are quite good.

Right here

Well, i want to go to a school where i can do either
animation or graphic design, and then, learning this is a
simply a good idea.

the womans face doesn't quite look right, probably due to
the fact that the mouth isn't curving around the head but
instead lies on a flat plane. also the shading might be a
tad lighter with more contrast, atleast thats what i would
do to make it more realistic looking. i'm guessing those are
photo referenced. pretty decent.

not to be an asshole, but i'm guessing you want
critiques...but come to think of it her whole face is sort
of skewed in different directions. you might try doing
guidelines for the eyes and mouth before rendering. just a
thought.

I like the dent on the side of the stove, that looks very
nice.

If i had a scanner I would post some of mine--

Yes, i like critique!!! I myself think the portrait became
to dark... But i must defend that mouth!! She had this very
strange horse mouth... I think the eyes and that section is
what i'm most satisfied with. The stove is not from a photo
by the way... (the lady is)

And i honestly do like critique, because this shit will
probably be my future, and in the young age of 19, i'd like
to remove the worst errors, and just learn the basisc before
doing something cooler.

What do you mean by Guidelines? Do you mean sketching the
whole thing up before starting?

i generally do a real quick outline sketch to make sure
proportions are correct, planes are right, etc. not like
those how to draw books where you sculpt that mannequin
outline first then fill in. thats a bunch of bs and would
take forever to do on real drawings. looking at it i still
don't think the eyes and mouth line up with the curve of the
head. i suppose the photo reference would help.
are you planning on majoring in art?

I'm with Beeblebrox. I think your pencilwork and tones are
excellent, but I would advise more focus on ironing out
basic shape and positioning errors in the initial sketch.
The face is a little odd on that woman.

Yeah, perhaps ill show you the picture, that makes it easier
to evaluate what i do here. Cause the only value these kind
of drawings has for me, is learning proportion and shadows
well.

My plans are just.. something in that area! i'd like to
become either a graphic designer of some sorts, an animator
or do graphics on computer for games or commercials or
something like that. But before you can get into the good
schools, you have to have some skills. Anyway, i feel that
i'm wery creative in general, i have lots of ideas of things
i want to do. But i want technique first!

And zaphod, i really appreciate your comments, because
people i know just seem to think everything i do is good.
Not that its bad, but it doesnt make me evolve much. Ive
uploaded some more, take a look. The new stuff is a bit more
interesting.

very nice. i have some drawings as well, including nudes,
however they are HUGE and impossible to scan and photo's
don't to them justice.

i think it would be very difficult to draw a nude from a
photo, you should try a real model, you can see the real
muscle structure and get a FEEL for things....ehhehehe

some of my favourite drawings i've done were nudes, just
because i think i captured what i wanted to from that moment
in time. the curve of the neck, the shape of the
muscle.......and once even the swollen belly of a pregnant
woman.......it was really beautiful i thought.

keep it UP.....i don't think you can ever really know
everything about drawing, it's a constant challenge!

btw.....the kitty kot is VERY cute!!!

these new ones have the same basic problems. the womans neck
in the nude one is weird, like its too long and too muscled.
i'd say if you worked on proportions and maybe didn't shade
quite as much you'd have some pretty good drawings.
i should upload my stuff, but i don't have a premium account
or a website to post it on.

Zaphod: Again, i can see what you're saying...

Would you mind if i use you again? I mean, you give some
great feedback. I think myself, that the "basic" proportion
is good, i mean, unlike my early drawings, i have a feel of
where things should be and such. But youre right! theres
almost always some minor faults in my drawings, be it one
thing or the other that destroys the whole a bit. The new
drawing of the lady, i did some errors with the head, that
actually made the rest of the body too big. Also, the muscle
around the neck became seems extremely flexed compared to
verything else. I can see that now.
Well.. i just have to make some new ones! this is really
important to me.

But still, i have only been drawing realistic for about two
years, and i've never had any formal training yet, so i
would lie, if i said i wasnt somewhat proud of these
drawings.

Thanks for the feedback.
