INTERNET auction site eBay has been hit by a strange new craze in which sellers appear naked in reflections on goods they're selling. So-called reflectoporn started in the US as an Internet joke - and a way for some American exhibitionists to get their kicks. Now their British counterparts seem to have caught on. Sellers take a photo of the object they're auctioning in the nude and their naked body is reflected in its polished surface. This has led to everything from busty women appearing reflected on TV screens to fat naked men shown in second-hand kettles. eBay user Paul Gibbins said: "Many people have called the craze shocking and debasing but I think most eBay users see it as harmless fun." An eBay spokesman said users are banned from selling erotica or sexually oriented materials, and aren't allowed to depict genitalia. "If we become aware of any item listed for sale on the site that breaches this policy, it will be removed." |
