Anyone heard of Suicide? I just got the chance to review
Martin Rev's a couple of weeks before its release. And i
have to say I was quite impressed. It's far different than
your usual electro-clash - there's quite a bit of innovation
here and actually some experimentalism.

Anyways, I loved the album - a great production and very
unique. Any Suicide albums anyone can recommend? Or any
other solo works by Rev?

actually this review i just finished (which isn't up yet
because i haven't sent it to Lau yet) is of Rev's new SOLO
album called "To Live." It's impressive btw.

But actually, Suicide IS still around - both the members,
Martin Rev and Alan Vega, still do work together and on
their own.

heh. sure is. whether it's the cloud over the Vancouver Art
Gallery on 4/20 (which the police silently observe), or the
field of addict zombies on east hastings every day... oddly
enough my own personal usage is at an all time low.

I'm playing tomorrow if you fancy it. Tell me a name to put

"or the field of addict zombies on east hastings every day"
this is a very bizarre phenomenon, highly recommended.

are you Dinosaur Jr? :P
i would take you up on that, but i have to work till 12 in
richierichland (Yaletown, where the yuppies roam and the
movie stars hide under giant sunglasses). then i have to
catch up with friends who are sleeping on my floor en route
to the sasquatch music festival...

thanks for offering though. champagne and strawberries would
have been swell.
