"We knew Monopoly cereal was a winning idea in our
continuing effort to bring new and exciting limited-edition
products to the cereal aisle," said Steven Vekich, General
Mills' marketing manager for promotional cereals.

How about the ''Nintendo Cereal System''? It blew my mind
the first time I saw this at Sobey's many many moons ago.

mmmm..

nothing like some marshmallow flavored styrofoam and BHT to
start the day off right.

my favorite novelty cereals through history:

1. Mr T cereal (peanut butter flavor)
2. E.T. cereal (also peanut butter flavor)
3. Transformers cereal
4. Nintendo cereal (dual box 2 flavors, Mario Bros. and
Link)
5. Ghostbusters cereal
6. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cereal.

I always thought it was funny that Mr. T cereal was peanut
butter flavor. I mean it makes sense for E.T. cereal to be
peanut butter (he liked reses pieces) but why Mr. T? was it
based on skin color?

It is also funny that Ralston Purina was big into the cereal
market back in the day... Probably because the ingedients
are so close to the dry dog and cat food. just fruit or
peanut butter flavor instead of chicken or liver flavor.

Haha, what the heck? It rings a bell deep in my brain
though, I'm sure I had that before. I used to have an
awesome A-Team blanket, but I threw up all over it one night
and we had to jettison it.
